rocketfeuille 0 #1 June 12, 2003 Doing some research for an ad campaign I'm starting- What would it take to get you guys into a symphony concert? More information on the concerts (better publicity)? Discount tickets? Humorous advertising? An act of God?
quade 4 #2 June 12, 2003 For me it all depends on the piece and who's playing it.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
TheRus 0 #3 June 12, 2003 I would say that more info and humorous advertising would be the 2 factors listed that would probably help me make my decision. Of course, the pieces to be played would be important, but that kinda goes in with the more info section... Yeah, it's fine, we'll walk down the line. Leave our rain, a cold trade for warm sunshine You my friend, I will defend... and if we change, well, I love you anyway

Laurel 0 #5 June 12, 2003 Depends on who your target audience is - are you thinking younger folk? If so, you have to make it edgy, sexy, and cool. Another thing is that young folk don't realize how much classical music they know - Warner Bros. cartoons are filled with great ones. So, you may want to do a "Bugs Bunny" concert series where your Symphony plays favorite classical tunes you remember from your cartoons. It could be fun!..................................................................... PMS#28, Pelogrande Rodriguez#1074 My Pink M

Gawain 0 #10 June 12, 2003 I love the symphony. It's a great place to take a date. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is superb. The sound and the way it surrounds you -- the perfection of sound...mmm. If you live in either Atlanta, Cleveland, Philidelphia, Chicago, New York or Boston, you're home to one of only six full size symphonies in the US.So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! Muenkel 0 #11 June 12, 2003 I also love the symphony, as long as the acoustics are right. In the summer, the Boston Philharmonic plays at Tanglewood, which is not far from my home. I love going there. Chris _________________________________________ Chris

racer42 0 #13 June 12, 2003 The San Antonio Symphony just filed for protection. So it'll take about $3.5 million to see a show there. Cheap seats and a big name.
