Post your vigil error code and explanation.

Tried to power mine up today, received cutter error 3. I'm getting that looked at soon. In my search for answers on a saturday I could not find anything here about how many error codes there are 1-6?, and what they mean other than send it in for service.

I didn't find a meaning for errors, besides that you should bring it to your rigger and not jump the rig with this error, even if the AAd is turned off

Mine didn't give me an error code, it wouldn't turn off after finding it displaying LFF 56 secs the morning after jumping. Unit wouldn't go past the second blinking red light and then locked up in "Hello" mode.

Contacted Vigil who stated that this was an LCD error that was limited to a "small group of units." They stated that the LCD control unit needed to be sent back for a software update. When I asked about the 4 other units that were purchased at the same time (sequential serial numbers) they stated that they did not want me to ship them back unless they developed the problem. Hmmmm.

Looked up "Hello Vigil" here on DZ.com and discovered that the "isolated" problem had been reported over 2 years ago. Software issue? I think not.
