Steel 0 #1 June 11, 2003 Here its apparently Hamas that is behind the attack. 13 Israeli's dead 65 wounded and the stupid Muslim that blew himself up with the sole goal of accomplishing this "masterpiece"(in his mind atleast). Israel is currently bombing Gaza city trying to get one of the Hamas leaders, but does this really make any sense? I mean even if they kill him the ones underneath him will all simply move up in rank. I don't think it makes any sense. I think the only thing that does make sense (and its just a matter of time before the conservatives have the backbone to say it and the liberals just shut up), is to ban this religion completely. (Kill them all if you have to,they have no problem killing us). Its not a 20th century problem. They have been a problem since they were first around in the 6th century. It took my Spanish ancestors 700 years to get them out of Spain and we fought them from the day they came in. I hate them!!! I guess this bombing just gives me more reason to hate them. Then again since they have done so much worse in the past, this is really just miniscule. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.

Steel 0 #5 June 11, 2003 yes but we became civilized as humanity became civilized. We didn't have a stupid religion that kept us living in the middle ages. billvon 3,080 #7 June 11, 2003 >Kill them all if you have to,they have no problem killing us. Well, we tried a few centuries back; it didn't work then. And few people are into genocide nowadays. The ones who have tried are usually held up as the very embodiment of evil. >I hate them!!! And they hate people like you; it all balances out in the end. >I guess this bombing just gives me more reason to hate them. And so you want to bomb them; which will make them hate you more. And so on and so on until the world is blind.

Steel 0 #12 June 11, 2003 this is what I mean about the liberals. How long are we going to play politically correct before we face up to an obvious problem from which the roots are extremely obvious as well. Push 0 #15 June 11, 2003 I feel for all the Israelis involved, my mother was almost killed in one of those bombings. Now take three deep breaths and calm down. Ranting, raving and frothing helps noone. QuoteIsrael is currently bombing Gaza city trying to get one of the Hamas leaders, but does this really make any sense? It might keep the pressure on Hamas, pressure that the Palestinians will not apply. If Israel wasn't doing this, how often would the attacks come? Three, four times a day? A hundred, hundred and fifty civilians dead every day? Do you doubt they would do that? I don't. -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy. BBKid 0 #17 June 11, 2003 Dude, I appreciate that you're angry right now (you may always be angry, I don't know), but this really won't help. Saying you hate any nation/religion/race (hate that word) purely on the basis of said distinction is at best naive, and at worst evil (though I don't know where on the scale you stand). Making a sweeping statement about one of the worlds biggest religions and saying that they have "always been a problem" or whatever the line was, really contributes to nothing but the promotion of irrational hatred. Sure, every religion and nation has its murderers, thieves, rapists etc. but that doesn't mean you can generalise. What about all the millions of Muslims in southeast Asia, who most people have probably never considered when they rant about the religion. I'm sure the Aztecs and the Maya would have said they hate all the Spanish for trying (and succeeding) to wipe them out, but do you accept responsibility for eradicating these great civilisations? Of course not, nor should you. Just try to keep this in mind. Hitler claimed to be a Christian, it doesn't mean we all want to wipe out the Jews. People will never live in peace in the Middle East, or anywhere, if they have to see everyone around them in terms of being 'the same' or 'the other'. Hope you find happiness bro. SkyDekker 1,465 #18 June 11, 2003 QuoteHow long can we pretend that we don't know who is the problem? Well, that is the big question. One way of solving the problem is to abolish Israel and move all the jews away from the Middle East. End of violence. I am fairly sure you would not be so happy with that solution. NeedToJump 0 #19 June 11, 2003 QuoteKill them all if you have to,they have no problem killing us. ... I hate them!!! OK, I am Jewish and lived over in Israel for a bit and have to say that "they" are mostly good, no wait, great people who have very similar views on peace. I often found myself in Arab villages (pretty obvious I was the only Jew) and never had any sort of problem. It is the fanatics and radicals (on BOTH sides) who are causing the problems and hindering the peace process. These radicals just want to see the other side destroyed and will not accept any middle ground. I have witnessed bombings over there (the bus I normally rode on in Tel Aviv was blown up by a suicide bomber) but I hold no grudge against "them." It is the few that make the many look bad.Wind Tunnel and Skydiving Coach http://www.ariperelman.com
Steel 0 #20 June 11, 2003 I am not Jewish and for that reason I probably could go on living with that solution. But I do believe in right and wrong. I know it was their land first. I know it was their land before the Muslim religion even existed and I think it would be wrong to make them the sacraficial lamb just to appease the Muslims. About Spain and the Aztecs or for that matter all of South America with the exception of Brazil, the Philipines a lot of the West Indies and so on, I am aware that they were imperialists in those times. But so were the British more so actually and so were the French and the Portugese and the Dutch. Hell even the Italians were messing with Etheopia. But those times are long gone. As humanity has matured and Imperialism has been generally accepted and wrong and immoral. Unfortunately though, not all civilizations have matured. The muslims are the perfect example still running around in robes, living like they are in the middle ages and making dogs out their women. No I take that back we treat our dogs much better than they treat their women. Anyway they are still imperialists. Just look at Saddam Hussein a few years back when he went into Kuwait. But before you try to suggest that not all are that way I will say, they are. I have known muslims who appeared as peaceful as possible and then I have seen that they have world maps color coded to show what percentage each and every country is already muslim. See that is their goal. That is not a Chistian, Jewish, Buddist, or Hindew goal. There simply is a difference. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. wmw999 2,550 #21 June 11, 2003 What I think is interesting is the number of evangelical Christians who are looking forward to an all-out war in the middle East because it means the second coming. If you kill all the Muslims first, then who's going to be on the other side? Gotta think ahead dude -- wouldn't it suck to get to the pearly gates and find out that you're going to Hell because you stopped the second coming?
