I know how it feels to have a pet die in my arms. Last year one of our older horses just laid down and decided it was her time to go. I sat out in the mud with her head cradled in my lap, trying to make her comfortable while her colt pawed and kicked the fence trying to get to her. She was gone before my dad and the vet could get there. I'm sorry for your loss.Even the smallest of lives are hard to let go of when someone cares.I agree with Michele that the kitten was fortunate to have been loved near the end.
