The picture in Silhouette was taken moments after I went screaming by the base, thus earning myself a new nickname. Bar1 was taken shortly before the first load of MonkeyFries came out - unfortunately, the MonkeyFry picture didn't come out. The student (Dan) slid back and popped up a bit when he went to pull, thus the rare shot of Ken sliding around in front of Dan. Usually the reserve side never gets seen on my chest mount. Chuch and I both dived on it. I looked over at Chuck, who was flying on his side . . . then looked back at the base just as I was breezing past it. I put on all the brakes I had (which looked like, in one jumper's words, I 'suddenly spazzed out') went right past it then flew back around and got in with everyone laughing me. Well, hey! Back in town Sat. evening, but did the dinner at the in-laws thing Saturday evening (not that I suffered when it came to that dinner). Sunday I barely introduced myself to SwoopMonkey before we were headed in different directions all day! Two fun jumps, three AFF student jumps. Good day of skydiving -- but sorry I didn't get a chance to hang out and jump with you Bill! Come back again and we'll plan more "quality" time in the air!
