PhreeZone 20 #1 February 2, 2012 I'm playing with a new to me 20u machine and I've noticed when i take the stitch length to the max the machine locks and will not move until I adjust the length to a smaller option or I hit the reverse and i can feel it pop back and it lets me move by hand to the same spot next rotation and it locks again. I'm also noticing on the reverse handle is vibrating really bad when I have the length set much above 3 or so. Doe anyone know of any servicing manuals or something that I could read to educate myself more on this machine and what the proper timing on everything should be to eliminate this issue?Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

masterrigger1 2 #5 February 2, 2012 Sounds like your feed ecentric is out of time or the feed fork is not centered to the needle plate. Look and see if the feed dog is limiting out on the needle plate on one end or another. Basically is the feed dog traveling too far in one direction when you change the stitch length??? PhreeZone 20 #6 February 3, 2012 So far I have found the feed dogs were crooked and were hitting the needle plate in once corner. Then I found the timing was slightly off. Then I found the feed dogs were not centered. Next I adjusted the position of the feed dogs for front to back and I can't turn the machine by hand so its clear I have misadjusted something so its back to scratch... These things are complicated to get tuned right. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
