KawiZX900 0 #1 June 24, 2003 Does anyone know anyone that works with these, who might consider putting me in touch. I'd like to see one of these at the Rob Harris Boogie next year. Accelerate hard to get them looking, then slam on the fronts and rollright beside the car, hanging the back wheel at eye level for a few seconds. quade 4 #2 June 24, 2003 How much MONEY do you have to spend. Hint: bigger is way more expensive. http://www.videoapps.com/menu.html http://www.videocaminc.com/ Oh, BTW, what you probably really want is currently called an LED Wall. However, if you say the words "outdoor" and "JumboTron", they'll get the idea.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
gary350 0 #3 June 24, 2003 Don't know how big you are really after, but have you considered a projector? I just bought a projector that can be hooked to a PC, DVD, tape, whatever - it is 2500 lumens and is rated to project an image 300 inches wide (or maybe diagonal). Either way, that is a big, fairly bright image (indoors anyway - maybe you are after outdoors during the day, in which case this probably wouldn't work. . . ) To get the best image quality, you would want a screen to project on, but that would probably still be a lot cheaper than a jumbotron, and maybe you wouldn't need a screen at all if there was a big white wall. The projector cost $3,500 - Mitsubishi XL25U
KawiZX900 0 #4 June 24, 2003 I was hoping to be able to show peoples performances on the ground on a big screen. Perhaps is we had a projector we could just do the days highlights at night after the beer light is on... quade 4 #6 June 24, 2003 Sorry man, but I can assure you that they both are working just fine even through my Company's draconian firewall.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
AggieDave 6 #7 June 24, 2003 Yeah, a good LCD projector will only run you a cool couple of thousand, an actual giant TV/Plasma/whatever will be much much MUCH more expensive. You know, just keep your reciept.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
