rhino 0 #1 June 24, 2003 Current stocks I am day trading... VRA KFL last week I go for the cheaper stocks that have heavy volume. Watch the news reports and patterns of the stocks. Made $300 yesterday on VRA and $100 today on VRA. KFL is at a stand still.. Rhino

Cornholio 0 #6 June 25, 2003 Dude, I used to day trade ALL the time. It was fun making 2-20 grand in one day and then losing it the next. Mind you, these were penny stocks, but when they hit, they hit big. Ask me how much my portfolio is now worth... I just logged onto E-trade (it's been so long, I almost forgot my password) and saw this for one of my stocks: Current Value: $0.011 Qty : 40 Price Paid: $3.875 Total Gain: -$174.51 -99.75% Market Value: $0.44 The sad thing is that 3 others on this account had de-listed. I started out with 2 grand in this particular e-trade account. Now my balance is $0.71 Not even enuf for a newspaper. LOL Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! jfields 0 #7 June 25, 2003 To day trade successfully, you have to: 1) know a lot 2) work really hard at it 3) be really smart (or damned lucky) 4) be able to trade money you don't need to live on Even with those attributes, most people would find it far easier and more profitable just to get a regular job. You could invest the salary from your regular job in the S&P index, and make more money and have more free time. Successful long-term daytraders are about as common as mothers that are virgins. skymut 0 #14 June 25, 2003 Well, let's just say, watch the movie "The Great Outdoors", and listen to the older, wiser raccoon explain what hotdogs are made of. I believe that bologna and hotdogs come from the same batch. I will say, you are darn close. Matt A well-informed person is somebody who has the same views and opinions as yours. racer42 0 #15 June 25, 2003 I most likely have a serious gambling problem, but only when I'm in a casino. So day trading wouldn't be a good idea. I'm a long term investor guy.
