Tattoo.....???????

Recommended Posts

I am getting a tattoo of either my new son's feet or hands.. Got some good foot prints but the hands are going to be hard because of the grasp reflex babies have.

Should I get the tattoo of his feet on the same shoulder as the other just below or on the other arm in the same place??

I would say get them tatooed on top of YOUR feet, that would be pretty damn cute (yes I said cute!) but tatooes on the feet wear away in about a year...

I would put them together definitely, unless you already have a lot of ink (or plan to have a lot of ink) and wanted some sort of symetry to start forming. If you dont have a lot of tatoos put them together, maybe consider putting his birth date in a neat english script or whatnot below the feet, that'd be cool. Yeah can you tell Im bored!? Show us a picture when you get it! :)

I looked at the picture, but couldn't see how far down the first tattoo goes. I'm asking that because it depends on how far down the arm you want to take the tattoo. Do you want it covered up during some times in your life, like work? Some employers don't like to see tattoos. That's something to think about for the future.
My vote is for the other arm. BTW, very cool.

Ah, my only experience is that a tattoo artist friend told me they wear out/eventuall wear away, and having a friend get two white doves tattooed on the top of her feet. They wore off, but they were really cool looking, she was indian, it looked so exotic:)

That looks awesome!B|

Go with the feet. It really looks great on the first one! You're right with how hard it will be to get a good hand print anyway.

I would say to put it on the other arm. That way you can see each one clearly & they each have their own arm. Well...until you have another one! ;)
