DON'T USE ZICAM!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Please, please, please do not use a cold remedy called Zicam, a homeopathic zinc nasal spray. I used it three weeks ago and have not been able to smell or taste since and my doctor is not very optimistic that this is a temporary situation, either. After doing some research on the internet, there seems to be many others that have had the same experience even to the point of a class action lawsuit against the manufacturer. Please my brothers and sisters, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!!!!!
The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

My company manufacture's the Zicam Extreme Congestion, Nasal Moisturizer, and the Sinus gel. We do not manufacture the cold remedy as it has homeopathic’s in it. It was most likely the homeopathic that did this to you. Keep in mind that every product on the market will affect every person differently. Sorry to hear about your bad reaction. Definately discontinue use.

I have used it off and on for a while now and never experienced any problems whatsoever. How often were you using it? Did your doctor mention to you about a "rebound" effect?

sorry to hear that though, I hope it gets better soon.

Used the spray twice three weeks ago on a Thursday and once on Friday and that Friday night I couldn't taste my beer or pizza>:(
