Slowfaller 0 #1 July 1, 2003 There is a tracking money meet this weekend and I'm considering signing up for it but I have no clue how it works though. Can anybody clue me in as far as how they judge distance? Do you do a solo or like a race etc...? Thanks and FYI...I have an A license w/ 71 jumps. Cornholio 0 #3 July 1, 2003 From my experience, they watch from the ground, and have a pre-determined minimum altitude. so for instance, you have to be open by 2000' and then they verify this with a judge who opens at 2000' and anyone below them is disqualified. Sometimes they use birdmen to verify distance from the sky. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah!
