Lots of 200+ sq foot canopies all around this weekend, I did manage to score a dead 0 on the tuffet in a swoop though, too bad it did'nt count. The new DZ.com tradition has been started... confrence call drunk dials. Jessica recieved one, Mouth was woken up by one, and SkyKat got distracted for 30 minutes by one. I'll probably be at Hinckley this Saturday or Sunday. If I'm lucky I'll be able to get both days and do the "All-You-Can-Jump" thingy.

FliegendeWolf 0 #24 June 30, 2003 :: [rant]I did not get to jump my new rig, as my instructor/rigger was too busy to install the cypres (God knows that there are cigarettes that need to be smoked and asses that need to be sat on). Of course, this didn't matter anyway because the weather sucked all weekend. Yesterday was my skybirthday, and I had hoped to get my license on my skybirthday, but I couldn't jump and I waited around all day and I'm just generally pissed about it.[/rant]A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All
pd190 0 #25 June 30, 2003 0:6:1 0- still no luck! 6 - Did my first working tandem jump. Got 2 vids in, did another working tandem, hit a four way with some guys, hit two points (the organizer set up some really tough points to challenge a few low timers) and then had to get a BEACH JUMP in! Yeah!! Nothing beats a sunset beach jump from 2 miles offshore at 5000'! 1 - one case owed for my first working tandem jump. Beer will be paid at the 4th of July BBQ. All said and done, great weekend on the beach. after the jumping on Saturday, I was plain ole' wiped out for Sunday. Did some DZ maintenance and packed. Great weekend.
