My computer is running much better!!! I also have another free program called "Pop Up Killer" ... I've been running that for a couple of years. I think I could help you pinpointing the problem. Personally about antivirus, I like PCcillin, which has a nice firewall (software that will help you with those worms), and secondly, do not run anything directly from an e-mail, web page. Now, about this virus stuff. I used ZoneAlarm, but it killed my machine. It also didn't like playing with Norton Antivirus (seems the kiddies couldn't share the crayons...). Then I uploaded Avast, and it worked for a while. Now it won't. It sits, pouting in the corner...whining at me for an unexpired license key... Sigh. And then I tried to do a spamblocker thing, and it let in all the spam, but bounced all of the people in my address book. Things like this make me cry.
