nws01 0 #1 October 7, 2002 While in a PM conversation with SkyGal today she asked me if I knew Tom Noonan. I said no I had not met him yet and she sent me this story he had here back in January. This guy jumps at Pepperell which is an hour or so North of here and I have not been to that DZ yet. Reading a story like this tells me that I am stupid and I need to meet the fellow skydiver. This story will tell any whuffo what skydiving is like. But only skydivers will understand what he is saying! Tom, can't wait to jump with you and share a cold beer afterwards. skygal3 0 #2 October 7, 2002 yep, I emailed tom a few months ago to tell him how much his story touched me. This was during the time I was so excited about starting my skydiving career, my mother was less than thrilled, so my emotions we very mixed. I fell in love with the sport even before my first jump. While reading his article I had tears in my eyes, I could totally relate to almost everything he wrote about, so I emailed it to mom, telling her to read it so she would maybe understand why it is I need to do what I have begun to do... I have known Tom's better half since I was in elementary school and went to visit and jump with them recently and had the time of my life, and if you read his article, I can assure you he wasn't kidding about learning to buy beer! They really know how to have fun and that we did! He and Mary and the rest of the gang were the most fun and extremely nice people! If you're reading guys, I can't wait to visit again! Keep in touch!
