jumpergirl 0 #1 July 7, 2003 Can anyone direct me to find the cheapest plane tickets out there?? I've looked on Expedia, Travelocity, and Cheaptickets. I've also been to the airlines specific websites. Are there any travel agents or airline workers on here that can point me in the right direction! I've goofed up and forgot to get my tickets and now I have to leave next weekend - and no tickets! HELP!!

jumpergirl 0 #5 July 7, 2003 Hahaha... from Tampa to Sacramento. I checked hotwire and didn't see anything I liked. I'd prefer to pay as less as possible - DUH! Who wouldn't! "No, no, let me pay more!!" Right!!
BlueEyedMonster 0 #6 July 7, 2003 www.orbitz.com Is another decent site. Its run by the airlines themselves so sometimes they undercut the other guys. (Not officially of course)

skymama 37 #11 July 7, 2003 Try Southwest. They always have the cheapest tickets when I need them. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
andy2 0 #12 July 7, 2003 if youre a student you can usually find a discount if you hunt and look. Sometimes theyre not listed, ask customer service if they have a "student fare". edit - always check directly through the airline, sometimes their direct prices are cheaper than the freakin websites out there! Sometimes its the other way around! Its whacky! --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm... flyangel2 2 #13 July 7, 2003 I do lots of airline travel and buy my tickets on line. I have found over the years that most of the on line sites offer about the same price. I have wasted many hours trying to find the cheapest prices by checking out all the sites. Just pick a site and stick with it and pay the price. In the long run you will have saved yourself hours of stress looking for the cheapest price.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. lummy 4 #16 July 7, 2003 If you are renting a car or can have someone pick you up, it'd be much cheaper to fly in Oakland (Southwest) or San Francisco (United)... Oak or SF to Sac is about 1 and a half hour drive...I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. Jessica 0 #17 July 7, 2003 The cool thing about Southwest is that sometimes they have fare specials on their website to and from a certain location. They just did San Antonio, and I got a ticket for $200 that I'd been pricing for almost $400 elsewhere. So keep an eye on that.Skydiving is for cool people only
jumpergirl 0 #18 July 7, 2003 I've checked that, and so far they are about the same. But, I'm hoping to find something cheap, quick! I can't believe I forgot all about the tickets!! OMG!! Oh well... thanks to all of you with the great help I have more options.
