Anyone comming to AZ

Recommended Posts

112 degrees in the shade in Phoenix as of yesterday, estimating it at 120 in the sun during high afternoon hours, extremely high potential for dehydration, drink lots of water and remember, you can dehydrate without getting thirsty.

Went mountain climbing at 3:00 yesterday during the temperature high, wasnt too bad when I got up ~ 1000 ft. There were a few more Squaw Peak diehards going up in the heat. I was only going to go up 3/4 of the way, but then a hot chick passed me up, short pants, saw right under them, and that got me the rest of the way up. Her name was Heather, climbs every so often, hope I see her again she was really cute with that hat on. And nice bod!!! Thought about scratching her number on my arm with a rock (yea, right), maybe next time Ill remember to bring a pen.

in low humidity areas its really common to be sweating and not even notice it, i.e. the air from around your body immediately "sponges" up the sweat, leaving none on you. In the east, we know when we should slug some water, its obvious when youre drenched with sweat :)

I would be on the first plane over if I could find a flight from the UK in July or August for less than £700!!!!! WTF???? What's all that about eh?

If anyone has any cheap flight tips please feel free to share them :S....

How about no humidity areas???

There was one guy visiting from Tennessee that attempted to run up the mountain and practically dropped dead half way up, by the time he got to the top I noticed he was drenched in sweat. I think you East coasties are just used to sweating alot.

The fearsome thing about it is running out of water and getting heat stroke.
