flyangel2 2 #26 July 8, 2003 Wow, a job already? Keep it mind the good karma thing. Let the bad vibes from the other job be buried and move on with this new job. Good luck.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
jumprunner 0 #27 July 8, 2003 QuoteWell hell.I thought I was going to get to enjoy a little time off but it seems that I'm now starting a new job as a medic at the county jail tommorow. And I turned in a app for city fire yesterday.Testing won't be until next month But i think I can hack it until then at the jail. The city is losing several positions due to retirement and are shorthanded as it is.The lady at personnel said there will be several hires during the 1st round of testing. So I've got to get off my lazy ass and start getting ready for the physical agility test.I spent 8yrs with the FD before moving to CO so hopefully I won't have a problem getting on here. You were a step ahead of the game from the very start. When most people lose their job they worry about not having a job. What do you worry about? Skydiving, ofcourse, the only thing that matters. And when you worry about the importand things in life, from what Ive always found, the rest just falls into place. The lamos out there who have nothing better to live for other than chasing the dollar sign are always the ones who get left behind when shit happens.
