gemini 0 #1 July 7, 2003 Early Sunday afternoon we completed a 16 way with an 8 way base and 8 hangers. For the sunset load, we made a 10 way base with 10 hangers, but could only hold it for a few seconds. DZO of Skydive Spaceland told us afterwards that if we could build a a 32 or 40 way, the jump would be on him! Looks like a challenge we will have to accept! Josh Hill will have photos on line at http://www.aerialfusion.com by Wednesday the 9th. Blue skies, Jim

Deuce 1 #4 July 7, 2003 THey are cool, huh? For my 500th we did a 4 base with 4 hangers. Since we're in the KingAir, biggest we're likely to get is a 6 base 6 hangers. It's getting freaks back on their bellys! I love it. You have to be able to dive on your belly, get to your slot and grips, and then get vertical. Good stuff! I'm looking forward to the pictures. Zennie 0 #5 July 7, 2003 Ya know, one of these days when I come back out from under my rock I'll get current again and join the cause. In the meantime, good luck to everyone. nacmacfeegle 0 #16 July 11, 2003 Hey Jim, I'm loving the stuff you guys are putting together down there, good work folks. Man I wish I was still there. Anyways, what do people think the future of freefly big ways is....I really liked the pics PH2003, they were stunning, and had an almost surreal quality, however I can't help feeling all they are doing is emulating belly bigways. IE they are making 2 dimensional (everyone on level) formations. I realise they are not easy to fly head down, and have more respect for the fliers than my limited vocabulary can adequately describe.... However, I find the multi layered (not a flat formation), multi discipline (belly, sit, head down) mix much more appealing. Both visualy, and they seem to capture the 'mix it up, everyone plays together' approach that more and more freefliers are exploring. Plus, I'm looking forward to hearing about you guys turning hybrid pieces to a second point in the not too distant future... Oh and Josh, excellent snaps, as always.-------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me.
