Shotgun 1 #1 July 11, 2003 I know this has been brought up before, but I just now saw it so I'm bringing it up again: http://www.runjerryrun.com/index.html I know his show was goofy, but I think he's a very smart man (yeah, I'm gonna get flamed), and I'd like to see people like him having a say in what goes on in the government. A quote from Jerry's website: QuoteAbove all, I believe that most Americans are being left behind in the political debate and that an unusually powerful elitism is running amok in the media and political elites in Washington—and don’t forget the moneyed special interests and lobbyists. There is a vast political & cultural separation between the elites and reality—real people. In terms of my possible candidacy, let me sum up what we face in the following quote from a right wing journalist recently appearing on CNN with Wolf Blitzer: “Voter turnout is not a glorious thing. If Jerry Springer shows up, he’ll bring all these new people to the polls. They will be slack-jawed yokels, hicks, weirdos, pervs, and whatnot.” That’s what they think about “all these new people” getting involved and threatening the hold of elites on this country. That’s what they think about most of us! So yeah, flame me if you want... But those of you who live in Ohio and can actually vote for him if he decides to run - at least give him a chance and hear what he has to say. And those of you who agree with him but don't live in Ohio can at least sign a petition on his website to encourage him to run.
skycop 0 #2 July 11, 2003 Just another way to embarrass Cincinnati. He's been exploiting the same people he professes to want to help and care about! The sad thing people actually buy into it!! "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

The single voting limitation is that if you vote in a primary (and which one you vote in is a decision you can make standing in line to pick up your ballot), you can only vote in that party's primary runoff.
