Exactly my point! Bravo!

It's not really the parents, it's the system! The same one that allows children to sue their parents for a spanking they feel they shouldn't have gotten, or should have gotten away with.

To get this crap going back the right directions, we need more parents (like me, I guess) willing to step up to the plate, and step back in time, to raise their children properly, firmly, without fear of an opressive judicial system.

Yes sadly lacking.... the concept of personal responsibility. However even if not taught at a early age you must start some at some point. I work on school buses and our schools spend more than 100k a year on seat repairs. This 100k should be going to the class rooms. If Mom or/and Dad had to pay for little Johny's damage.

Basic training style camps might help. Raise self esteem and learn self control. Some would frown on this but a return to Family values would be the best for all.

I'm going to try to make a long post short, so here it goes!!

I'm a school teacher. If you saw the ill mannered children that we get, well, you would never believe it!!

But when the parents are required to come to the school about the problem that the child performed, then you understand why this child acts like he/she does!!! Sometimes we wonder how the child turns out as well as they do!!!

Sometimes with some of the parents, you don't even want to report the kid. When you do report the kid, the parents (not all of them) are so obnoxious you don't ever want to have another meeting with the parent ever again. Their child can NEVER do anything wrong!!! PERIOD, END OF DISCUSSION!!

Then you have some parents that support the teachers etc, and you realize why their child is such a well behaved kid.
Its the parents fault for raising such an obnoxious ass of a kid. Hopefully the kid will someday realize this, and act in a fashion that would be considered normal!!!! Someday they will get a job (hopefully) and will be able to earn a living because they know how to act!!! (and they will also be able to pay into social security)
