"Must pick up kids, do laundry, drive, drive, drive!" Often times that is true. Especially for single moms. But something about yourself that you lavish some time on is really attractive. Be it your hair or whatever. (Skin, nails, smile, etc.) Loving yourself is the most attractive thing about you, whoever you may be. Donating that beautiful hair to a child would be even more beautiful, and surely that beauty would shine like a beacon, even if you had a bob-job. A friend wanted to do the same thing and went to a normal stylist and gave specific instructions "cut 10 inches or more off in one piece an save the hair" and although she cut nearly 12 inches off her head it was mostly in 6 inch chunks useless for making a wig.
