Gawain 0 #1 July 13, 2003 ...of catching up to do! *see attached* almost 600 new threads...no way... Fresh back from New Jersey and two gruelling weeks of the toughest training I've ever experienced. Out of 57 who started (or were scheduled), only 27 made it to the end and yours truly blasted through this moth*rf**ker with a vengeance! It was time well spent but it is sooooooo good to be back in California. The weather in NJ was upper 80s-low 90s with 90+% humidity the whole time. That was a wicked drag. While taking the PATH trains to the office was very convenient and efficient (the Northeast RULES the world on mass-transit), I am so glad to get back in my car and actually drive. I start my first week in the field tomorrow with 18 appointments through Friday! *yeah!* Now, if all goes well, I'll be back in the air in a few weeks as things will remain tight for a little while. But this new gig has got me so excited it's difficult to put to words. I don't remember being this amped up for a new job in over 10 years (including the promotions I got at my old company). Anyway, blue skies, I'll see you up there soon and stuff... So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light!
