bobsled92 0 #27 July 10, 2003 Both pics are great! That's a VERY honest exit photo. ....I was a "real man" my first 2 jumps: Sept 29th 1991: 1st= froze stiff and out the door, 2nd=MANly tears welling up while crawling to the door( I swear it's true) -Grant_______________________________ If I could be a Super Hero, I chose to be: "GRANT-A-CLAUS". and work 365 days a Year. http://www.hangout.no/speednews/
smiles 0 #28 July 10, 2003 ...awesome picture to have! When the old slide show is played at our d.z. there are many slides of me, like my face on my first solo dive from the aircraft...also some are used to train students, talk about embarrassment!!!! hey- 15 yrs. later they are my pride and joy! I can record still images with my digital video Palmcorder- but....fine resolution is only 640 x 480. When taking a still from video in my program- can never get good quality, even when the clearest image is chosen. Smiles
VanillaSkyGirl 6 #29 July 10, 2003 OH MY GOD!!! ROFLMAO! Yes, I am still laughing, but I am thinking that you are so cool for posting that. Wow...your face was so contorted that you slightly resembled a terror striken Gumby. It is adorable, and I love it! You know Mocha, my first jump was an AFF1, and I am sure that the sheer fear in my eyes along with my death-grip on the door would have been priceless in a picture. Sadly, I did not film any levels. The first film that I saw of myself was when my instructor filmed my 20th, A-license graduating jump! It was his little gift to me (Shhhh! It's a secret!) He even edited it with music. It was so awesome. I had noooo idea that I smiled so much during freefall. When I made the second dive of the jump down to him and finished my second dock, my smile was sooo huge that my face looked like it might split in two! Priceless. It also showed what a scary, huge gap that there is between the dip in my lower back and the container.

Check out our dropzone's forum (Omar who?) for her hillarious account of her visit to Arizona. http://www.skydivemonroe.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2&sid=f989dd872d4488800c1ef3e8347ab5e8 Here's a pic of her 100th jump! Deuce 1 #40 July 11, 2003 That picture is brilliant! Just beautiful. That's the joy of shooting tandem video. At least once a weekend I get to watch the transformation of somebody from that face "NO!NO!NO! sounds just like GO!GO!GO! once the door's open, lady" to a commitment to mastering bodyflight. Thanks for sharing that.
jessd 0 #41 July 11, 2003 That is a classic pic. I had a similar face on my first tandem too. Thanks for posting that. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..."
