Cleaning out my old room

Recommended Posts

On a recent visit to my parent's house, I was asked to go through all of my old stuff and keep what I wanted, because otherwise it was all going in the trash and/or donation bins.

While I was cleaning out my desk, I found a bunch of papers from high school. I never paid much attention in high school, and found some doodles that I had drawn instead of taking notes. How funny! I have pages of poorly drawn versions of me under canopy! Granted, each parachute only had eight cells :S ... but I just found it so funny that I knew THAT long ago that I wanted to skydive.

I was told that I could doodle at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven, I told bill that if Sandra is going to listen to her headphones while she's filing then I should be able to doodle while I'm collating so I don't see why I can't doodle because I enjoy doodling at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven.

That's really cool! When I go through old papers, I tend to find poems that I've written. Being a packrat myself, I have saved every one of them. What have I not saved? Well, I've also found old notes passed between friends, old love notes between me and my crushes...those have been disposed of, with fire usually!
I would have kept the doodles, because they had meaning, but I understand what you mean about too much STUFF!
