jtval 0 #1 July 15, 2003 Finally after a month of saving and waiting my car is fixed. Got one hellova deal too! I thought it was my Rack&pinion($1000) it turned out to be my struts(530 parts + 130 labor) I needed new tires ,too 4 tires mounted balanced aligned etc...($229) after a few minutes of fast talkin gthe guy gave me a deal for all parts and labor for an even $700 not bad! so now I have a few dollars left and I think I can go buy myself some groceries..... I managed to drive over a truck wheel .... actually, I managed to ramp a truck wheel, travelling at 120km/h on a freeway, at night, on my way to the DZ. My little ford fiesta was actually airborne. Was rather impressed with myself that I didn't lose control though. Repair bill? R14 000. (roughly $1750). Been fighting with my insurance co for 2 1/2 weeks now.
