quade 4 #6 July 16, 2003 Well, it's an "interesting" movie. I really liked some of the characters. In particular Nemo. And I really loved the overall art design, in particular anything having to do with the Nautilus. Cinematography wasn't too bad, special effects were pretty nice. All in all it's a fairly "old style" sci-fi action flick -- think 1960s era storylines. I think if the movie had been released at a lightly different time and didn't have to compete with "Pirates" or any of the other blockbusters it would have done slightly better on the opening weekend.
