And because he's a skigod/instructor... all girls are "falling" for this. Is this normal? Or using his possion/power? andy2 0 #3 July 20, 2003 depends on what your relationship is with the instructor, imo. If youre the DZO and its hurting your business more than its helping it, fire him. Plain and simple. Give him whatever reason you want to. If youre just his bud and you think its sorta whack, it may be acceptable to ask him why he feels the need to hit on paying customers, and then point out the fact that its hurting the DZ he works for. (Of course if they were dating before the non-instructor became a skydiving student, then that really doesn't apply). Redblue 0 #17 July 20, 2003 That's a good thing that there're a lot of DZ's with those rules. He's a good instructor and his DZ makes a lot of progress, so nobody is saying anything about this. Ever since he's instructor, he has relations with very young students, his social life is on his DZ but for him it's easy to hit on very young girls (mostly 18), unfortunately these girls are so easy to get. Could be both you say, but is he paying as much attention to his guy students or to the girls he doesn't think are as pretty or as interested in shagging him ? Not hard to see why experienced women jumpers wouldn't hang around. If the students are 18 there's nothing illegal about it, but your DZ has got to be getting a rep for "the place with the horny old coot instructor" (I'm older than him, so I can say that). I hope your DZ is progressive and safe, if anything were to happen to anyone, there's gonna be a lot of questions to answer. It's really not professional. He's promoting skydiving to a lot of students, but gives ofcourse girls bit more attention. But I have a job right now where I work will old red neck men who are married and do nothing but hit on me simply because I'm the only girl under 30 thats weights under 200 lbs at my work. I could understand if one student came along and they hooked up with the instructor but if there is more than one a year then I would talk to the instructor. He's only using her for sex, she thinks to have some kind of relationship with him, while he's also flirting to other young students.
