skybytch 273 #1 July 22, 2003 The rumor is true. I've been given an offer I couldn't refuse. I accepted. I'll be running The Drop Shop on the dz at Skydive Sebastian starting as soon as I get there. Mid-September I'll be packing up a rental truck and moving to Florida. I'm excited, happy, and a bit scared. It's a big opportunity and I'm blown away that it was offered to me. I owe a lot of appreciation to Kate and Tony at Square One for all I learned while I was working there, and for the good wishes they extended to me when I met with them today. Watch out Florida, the Bytch is comin' to stay!

skymama 37 #11 July 22, 2003 Oh wow, Lisa, I might actually get a chance to meet you now! Let's see if I have any pointers for your move....Florida is a great place, yessiree. For one, September will be hot and sticky, as it will be until November at least. Better stock up on some hurricane supplies because hurricane season lasts until November. Don't forget bug spray because the mosquitoes will still be out in droves. Oh, and be forewarned that if you pick a place to live near a body of water, that we have these green tree frogs here that sound like ducks and croak all night. At least you'll be settled before the snowbirds come down who drive under the speed limit in the "fast lane". Florida's great though....did I mention that I love it so much that I have dreams of moving to CA when the kids get out of school.
