Rebecca 0 #1 July 25, 2003 Dammit people! Here I am, surfing and post-whoring, and you're inhibiting my progress by posting threads with NSFW thread titles. Naughty words IN the post are fine, but I can't click on the titles with words like sh!t, a$$, fuc#, etc., and I really want to. So pretty-please, post with clean f^ckin' titles. For me. M'kay? you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Rebecca 0 #3 July 25, 2003 So I can f^ckin' click on every single thread I want without bringing the wrath of the corporate internet nazis down on my head, muthaf^cka. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk? Cornholio 0 #4 July 25, 2003 I don't see what the problem is. I am assuming you are afraid of getting caught from what will be shown up in the URL. However, if you look at the URL before you click it (look in the lower part of your browser) you will see that the TITLE is not there, it is just encoded. So if anyone sees your logs, they aren't going to know. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=584208;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread vs this [fake url]http://www.stileproject.com/fuckthatpussywithyour10inchdildo.html [/fake url] Do you see the difference ?? Or is there another reason ?? Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump
Remster 30 #5 July 25, 2003 Quotevs this [fake url]http://www.stileproject.com/fuckthatpussywithyour10inchdildo.html [/fake url] I' waiting for JTcliky to make it clicky.... PS: Corno, I think Rebecca's point is about the thread titles, not the link names vs. urls.Remster
Cornholio 0 #6 July 25, 2003 Ok, so what's the hangup with thread titles ? Is it offensive or is it a matter of getting caught by the sysadmin ? If i t's the latter, they won't know as I explained in my last e-mail. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Rebecca 0 #7 July 25, 2003 No, it's not offensive- it's just that if I can see the title on my screen, I'm pretty sure someone else could, too... Am I wrong? you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
Cornholio 0 #8 July 25, 2003 QuoteNo, it's not offensive- it's just that if I can see the title on my screen, I'm pretty sure someone else could, too... Am I wrong? well, I guess they could see if they were looking over your shoulder or using some type of remote-admin/vnc software. Yeah, that would suck. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Zenister 0 #9 July 25, 2003 but if they are doing that (or using software that allows them to veiw your desktop, they will see all the words in the post too... doesnt matter what the thread title is..if youd get busted for 'bad' words there, youd get busted for the words in the posts too...____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
