Guest #1 July 30, 2003 Is anybody willing to do voice chat instead of the IRC stuff we usually do on Wednesday night? You could try it out by downloading a free copy of Roger Wilco, a voice-over-IP utility. A few years ago, I chatted with Lori Thomas (ltdiver) and another person, and I've spoken with individuals in the UK and Australia using Roger Wilco... All you need is a Win PC and s sound card with a microphone input. It works like a radio; id est, only one person can talk at a time. Any takers? In case anybody's wondering, I'm not getting a kickback, I just think it's a nifty tool for voxchat. I can also email you the executable install of an older version of RW if you don't want to jump through the hoops on the company's website."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat." Cornholio 0 #4 July 30, 2003 BTW, Mark, I have used that sw before when I used to play CounterStrike all the time and was part of a gaming clan. It was great to be able to talk in real time to each other. However, if I wanted to hear your voice, I would call you. Hence the benefit of using the Pub Chat, so I can work and chat inbetween work tasks. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah!
