rehmwa 2 #1 July 30, 2003 Just visiting northern Cali this week and reading the news everywhere. What do skydivers think? ... Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants
lawrocket 3 #2 July 30, 2003 He should be gone. He tries to run this State like Tamany Hall. The rest of the legislature should be gone, too. THings started happening on the budget only after some of the Assembly Democrats inadvertently left on the microphones as they discussed ways to prolong the budget crisis so that the California people could "hurt" and let them raise taxes. Their logic? It wasn't an election year for the Assembly. It wasn't an election year for the Governor, either. Note, you should have an option for "kick him out, and vote in a Libertarian." My wife is hotter than your wife.
Deuce 1 #3 July 30, 2003 http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=584544;search_string=recall;#584544 California voters will have about 100 choices to vote for. For $3500 you can be on every ballot in California.

DivaSkyChick 0 #5 July 31, 2003 I love this whole process. From now on, every time you don't like a properly and fairly elected official's decisions, kick'em out. In fact, why wait for scheduled elections at all? You get to stay in office until you piss off enough people to sign your recall. Instead of running the state, you can just spend all your time running for office. Way to get things done, California. Clever! There will always be enough Republicans to sign a recall on a Democrat and vice versa. I really wonder what we've begun. --- www.facebook.com/mandyhamptonfitch

There will always be enough Republicans to sign a recall on a Democrat and vice versa. I really wonder what we've begun. If Joe Davis was the CEO of a Fortune 500 company with this kind of performance, he would've been fired long ago. Now, he's the Chief Executive of the 5th Largest economy in the WORLD and has been outspending revenues by 20% since he got into office, with no vision, no leadership, only well combed hair. "We've" begun something good (I signed a petition). The recall law has been on the lawbooks for over 90 years. This is not going to start something "new". Davis hasn't done anything good since he won office the first time. Davis can't get out of office too soon. BTW, the wonderful budget that's about to pass the Assembly, and that Davis says he'll sign will TRIPLE the car tax. I don't know about you, but that's at least $300/yr more for me, to about $450-500 total. Not only does he need to get removed from office, he needs to be sentenced to hard labor....he's such a dumbass...argh........ Okay, I'll calm down now....So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! Steel 0 #10 July 31, 2003 Of course he should be kicked out but voting Republican and voting Arnold is mutually inclusive and the best thing to do as well. Arnold is not some moron like Jessie Ventura and I think he could do the state a lot of good. The only drawback is that he was not born in the U.S. and therefore could not run for president 1-2 terms later as did the Great Ronald Reagan. But who knows maybe with time this unfair law can be changed. After all there are a lot of people who were not born here who are far more patriotic that many who were.If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.

Either leave voluntarily, get kicked out, or have a bomb placed strategically on the fault line so we can watch you float away. Far, far, faaaaar away. It's your life, live it!
