KawiZX900 0 #1 July 31, 2003 with a carbon fiber wing, cool footage. Camera flyer passed out at altitude 30,000', no O2 the flight was cool as hell looking. Accelerate hard to get them looking, then slam on the fronts and rollright beside the car, hanging the back wheel at eye level for a few seconds. KawiZX900 0 #4 July 31, 2003 Don't know, but I'm comfortable in saying that it looked like Red Bull may have sponsored the event. quade 4 #5 July 31, 2003 I think a more appropriate question would be, how big are both of his left feet? He face-planted the landing. However, the wing was reported as having a 1.8 meters wingspan or about 6 feet. The parachute was difficult to judge, but I'd say it was fairly largish, but that could put it anywhere from say 150 to 200 square feet.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
KawiZX900 0 #6 July 31, 2003 Yeah, from the skycam it looked like he whacked hard w/o flare, ground cameras show it from a better perspective, I do wonder how his knees feel after that. 14 minute flite, 6' carbon fiber wing, nothing about the chute Accelerate hard to get them looking, then slam on the fronts and rollright beside the car, hanging the back wheel at eye level for a few seconds. As it stands, they'd probably sell more Skyrays if they let people believe Felix had one of theirs. Then again, if Felix decided that this was a venture he wanted to get into and started selling "his" design, I'm almost certain the Skyray people would at least attempt to put a stop to it.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
 mccordia 74 #23 July 31, 2003 QuoteThen again, if Felix decided that this was a venture he wanted to get into and started selling "his" design, I'm almost certain the Skyray people would at least attempt to put a stop to it. The original skyray is not that big, and a skydiver wearing one on his back can easely fit into a medium sized jumpplane. The gliderplane Felix was hanging underneath almost didn't fit through the door of a skyvan.
