Its tite is "TREASON, Liberal Treachery from the cold war to the war on terrorism" by Ann Coulter. As I walked into Barnes and Nobles there it was on the best seller rack. Immediately I recognized Ann's face from the times she has been on Hannity and Colmes (sometimes even sitting in for Sean Hannity). So I knew she was a woman who opinions I actually cared about. But I still had to check it out before buying it so I read the first chapter and she is just awesome, when it comes to laying the facts right on the table. What I like most is that since she is a woman she can really attack those liberals directly without worry of being called meanspirited. And she does a great job at that.

Actually after years of struggling trying to understand why some people just don't get it I have learned to tune out a lot of stuff. Besides that because of the liberal strong hold on the media and the educational system I have been forced to hear and read more liberal garbal than I wish to.

Actually I do believe this is true and the proof I can offer up is how women are slowly but surely taking over the legal profession. They are much less likely to have an objection sustained. For that reason if I need a lawyer if all else is the same I would prefer a woman.

Maybe, JUST maybe its because 70% of law students are women (In Canada anyways... I'm pretty sure its the same down South)....

But maybe you're right. Thats probably why men run the IT and technology show...because we look better with big black frame glasses (and nothing to fo with the fact that even now, 90% of Engineering students are men, again, in Canada, but pretty sure its similar in the US)...

All I can say is I disagree with this. I believe there should be freedom of religion as long as your religion is not a cult-like danger to the rest of the world. By that I mean I do believe they should somehow abolish the Muslim religion.

Steel it's a nice thread you've generated. Ann's book is pretty well-done. I bought it a few weeks ago. I really thought it interesting how the decoded/decrypted Soviet transmissions proved many of McCarthy's assertions correct.

However, I got the feel that her book focused more on attacking the left en masse than for presenting historical fact. Not that I have problem with that at all - I despise most of the left with a passion - but I do think she got a bit more venemous than necessary.

It was a great read and quite interesting. No wonder the left hates her so. Her last book - Slander - was also a great read. I found two mistakes myself, but found the rest pretty much on point. Try reading some of the lefty responses to Slander for some cheap entertainment. Buffoons.
