And then there's Russia and other former USSR states. A few years ago I became the custodian of 28grams of plutonium when I was appointed chairman of our university radiation safety committee! I managed to get the govt. to take it back, but not without a lot of hassle.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. kiltboy 0 #4 August 4, 2003 I'm not too worried I just thought I'd share a source with some other folks here. Did you here about what they did at Dounrey in Scotland? There was a story where they threw nuclear waste down a shaft that drained in to the sea. Some bright spark then threw some sodium metal down there as well to add to the mix without thinking if the consequences should it get wet. Hanford.....polluted the ground and water for MILES around with seeping nuclear waste. There's a place in Tennessee that lets you hunt deer on the reservation.
