Brokeneagle 0 #1 August 1, 2003 Friends, Romans, my Fellow Skydiving Scum, Georgia Skydiving Center is proud to announce that the Fantabulous Pilatus Porter is returning to Rome this weekend--yes, you heard right! Come one, come all, enjoy one of the best jumpships to hit North Georgia! Stretch out yer legs with her roomy seating, test drive the Porter's quick takeoffs and efficient climbing, and, holy Simolean, lookit those mountains with awllll that ALTITUDE!! No measly 10,000 feet for us this weekend- it's all the way to the top, my friends- 14,000 feet, ahhhhh, America ees beeyootiful, especially from our vantage point! For those who have not joined us in a while, yes, we are still without our building, but there is plenty of shade, running water (tho slightly chilly, especially early in the morning) and the camping is free and easy-- (so's Sandor, but don't tell him I said that) Also, for an extra added bonus, we will be throwing our favorite pilot Brad the Bad out of the perfectly good Porter for his second tandem on Sunday- he says we can't have all the fun after his experience with us last weekend! Nothing like converting a perfectly good pilot into one of us, eh? So, come on out from under those rocks, dust off yer gear- come and jump the Porter with us! Blue Skies, Soft landings always! Faye Taylor, aka Brokeneagle. I'm really very gentle, no matter what my kung-fu teacher says... he is giving me a reputation I do not deserve!

freeflir29 0 #5 August 1, 2003 QuoteSkyvans r fun, too, but sooo slow- coming out to play with us? Not skydive Arizona's. No play for me in Georgia. I'm up in Cleveland, OH now. This place sucks.....but...it's a cool job and they are paying me well. I am thinking about making a showing at the SD Atlanta boogie in Novemeber though. Dutchboy 0 #9 August 3, 2003 Help the world is conspiring against me. I've got school starting again soon, and my flight instructor in my new school on the other side of the state just quit. He must have suspected I'd have some free time to jump this weekend.
Brokeneagle 0 #10 August 4, 2003 Aiyahhhhh, poor sky-brother; send much empathy; joined the ranks of the unemployed meself June 13th - wish I could assist with the flight instruction; but have ye spoken with Wendel or Russell Still? One of them could possibly assist or know of a likely candidate- BTW, the Porter was a lie, anyway, unintentionally Sat. am, Greg called Sandor and informed him of the ol' bait-and-switch with a different twist-- sent us a nice Cessna Caravan instead doncha jest love those unexpected upgrades! Anyway, sorry ye couldn't make it out, Fei-long.... mebbe things'll work out better for us all in th' unseeable future-- Blue Skies, Soft landings always, my friend-- Faye.
