cdcollura 5 #1 August 4, 2003 Hey all, I had the pleasure of recently visiting Skydive America in Pahokee a few months ago on some clear-blue Saturday morning only to find the place itself also "Clear and Blue"! But not "clear" as in "blue-sky kind of clear" but "clear" in terms of "no-one there"! I have been jumping at other DZ's but still miss Skydive America. Homestead is always tandem-intensive, Clewiston is too far and you have to wait too long to get on a load, and Skydive PBX (that little DZ at Pahokee that opened) I feel waery after hearing a lot of bad things about them at SD America! I remember after Larry Kirshenbaum left the place Carolina Sky Sports took it over, then suddenly, nothing! What are they gonna do with the site? Is it gonna sit there and rot or is it going to be opened under new management? I know it's summer and slow cuz all the really fun stuff is goin' on in the north now ...
