Women's comments were being ignored by the men, who took over this forum. I thought that the most rational posts/beliefs were made by Wendy, whom we can all agree is a well-educated, intelligent person. Edited to only include valid complaints. OK, men! I personally have no problem with either Sinker or Zennister. It appears to me that different standards were applied to each of them. Just my .02. Muenkel 0 #21 August 4, 2003 It probably would have been smarter if one of the moderators moved the thread to talk back early on, since it was a discussion that involved both women and men. Yeah two men dominated it, but IMO, just because it was started in the Women's forum does not mean it should have stayed there considering where the conversation was going. Actually Divingduck started it to get women to sign the petition, but the thread was hijacked and it went in a different direction. Hijacking threads is not frowned on around here, so I guess if we are going to stay consistent in applying rules, it should have been moved to Talk Back much earlier on.
