At 1445 CT today, the temp at Rantoul was 84F (29C).

The forecast for tomorrow is partly sunny with a chance of showers.

The forecast for the rest of the week is for blue skies.

I'm sitting in my office in Seattle, with layoff looming in a little over two weeks.

I'm really PO'd and very unhappy with life in general right now.

Not really looking for sympathy, just venting. >:(

As much as I've bad-mouthed the Feds on this forum, a GS-2210 gig is looking pretty good right now!

What else is there to do? Dude, toss on a Godzilla mask and walk around holding the little ones back by putting your hand on their head while they swing at you. Okay, maybe that's better in Japan. I've always wanted to work there becuase just once in my life I'd like to be known in the office as the tall guy with a big wanker. Challenge the gang to a game of basketball -- one on 5 of something.

With my luck I'll have a troop of Asian men at my door with pitchforks within an hour of hitting submit of this thing. Help.

You could always hang out at the DZ and pack;)

I wont be around for a couple weeks... the BIG chinooks are AT the mouth of the river... milling around and should enter the river any day... I will be there chasing them as of Friday.. woo hoo..
