skygal3 0 #27 September 20, 2002 being so new myself, I can relate to your post...what I can say though, other than driving friends crazy with "see my new pics!!!"...is that everything becomes a comparision to skydiving...kind of like "life is like a..." thing...oh! yes, that is totally like skydiving, blah blah blah...everything becomes an analagy...I had my first dream the other night.....it is def. in my blood...it is truely addicting...the feeling in the plane at about 9000 feet where the old me would have said "what the hell am I doing"...the calm at the door going over in my head my plan for the jump and being able to totally calm myself...nothing else like it...it's the best air in the world, at 13500 ft...I actually smelled bus exhaust the other day and it made me flash back and long to be in the back of the plane again!!! JCoonce 0 #28 August 7, 2003 As our 1 year anniversary of jumping approaches, I thought I'd post an update to this old post- Daniel and I are still hopelessly addicted to skydiving, and you guys were right - it just gets better every jump! We couldn't be happier. Janet www.skydivemonroe.com
goose491 0 #29 August 7, 2003 Hmf! I thought this thread was going to be about hot-boxing the jumpship or something Congrats on the bite and welcome to the sky! It really does get better and better. There is always something new to learn, always new people to jump with and one day, when you think you kow it all, somebody goes and invents some new bad-ass stuff to do! Great job going the two of you... It's so nice to have someone in the progression with you, someone to discuss your experiences and progress with. Anyway, say goodbye to what the wuffos call "Spending cash"... or money for "rainy day"?? And welcome to skydiving! Nick My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
