gus 1 #1 August 8, 2003 Not sure how long this has been available for but you can now set up news alerts via Google: enter a search query, your email address and when you want the alerts (daily or 'as they happen') and off you go. A nice way of keep up to date with skydiving in the press around the world. Could put Quade out of business. GusOutpatientsOnline.com

quade 4 #3 August 8, 2003 Yeah . . . the only problem with services like this in the past is that it works a bit too well and you can be deluged with stuff that isn't relevant. You need to be very, very careful in setting up filters. For instance, searching for "parachute" will give you a LOT of stories about executives and their "golden parachutes" which is probably not what you were looking for. I'll definately check it out though and see if it could be useful. Edited to add . . . Yikes! Looks like you'd need to set up the news alerts AND have your email filter them pretty damn heavily.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
