You just noticed?People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

He's a popular actor and he has a whole arsenal of awesome sound-bite phrases he can use; what do policies, agendas, background or politicial views have to do with anything? Sebazz1 2 #20 August 7, 2003 How do we know Arnold does not have his own personal agenda to attend to. How do we know he's not getting into this so he can change some ordinances that will let him build a 4x4 park for his Hummer in his back yard, or make a ultra super rich person lane on all CA highways, or make some incredible loop hole for paying taxes for people like himself... you know something outrageous... How do we know the guy is going to be a great public servant? Look at his resume. Movie actor!?! Body Builder... He's not even from Cali. I want a Native that is absolutely and unconditionaly in love with this state too. Has he even been to Sacramento? Does he know the Capital is there? What's he going to do about our power issues? So Cal and No Cal water issues? Traffic? Immigration issues? Unemployment? Budget? EDUCATION!!! Crime.... Sigh ~ my .02 is that he does not have the credentials to do it ~ Things were different for Reagan.. less complicated. what about Woody Harrelson?!? Again all of the above should be disregarded cause I know squat about squat...
tbrown 26 #21 August 7, 2003 Quotemakes me wonder how many people might vote for a recall simply to be able to vote for Arnold? even if he doesnt win its a nice political strategy. I think Arnold's going to be elected. I'm not endorsing him, it's just the way I'm reading the tea leaves. Arnold running is the last nail in Gray Davis' coffin. "I'm ze pahty poopah...". As far as the recall being a right wing power grab, there's something to be said for that, but Arnold is stealing the show from Issa, who's tried to buy and steal his way into the guv's mansion. Oh, and as far as Springer goes, I heard yesterday that he HAS filed his paers and paid his fees for the Senate race. Maybe we'll get a 300 lb tranny stripper onto the Senate floor after all ! quade 4 #22 August 8, 2003 Ahhh . . . I knew I remembered something funny about Arnold, his image and his run for Governor. Something he probably won't want you to see. Pumping Iron "Why?" you ask.
