jfields 0 #3 August 11, 2003 It was a fun jump. I'll write up more later. As to the cold part, it wasn't a problem. Just dress appropriately. I wore polypro long underwear under my (heavy fabric) jumpsuit and 3mm neoprene scuba gloves. The gloves were key, because the extremities get coldest fastest. The cold was barely noticeable. You are so pumped you don't care anyway.
kevin922 0 #4 August 11, 2003 was the 30K jump the one that was reasonably priced, or was it the one that was like 350 or 400 bucks?

jfields 0 #13 August 11, 2003 No pics from the freefall. I had someone take some pictures with a disposable camera of all the gear-up and stuff. Once they are developed, I'll post any decent ones.
Guest #14 August 11, 2003 Quotewere they really over $300 for a high altitude jump? why so expensive? how long was freefall? Shoot, man, that's a bargain compared to Davis. Wish I could have gone this year - the 30k HALO was #1 on my list of jumps to make. Hope they (the operators) are there next year. "The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."
