Did anyone do the 30,000 ft jump?

Recommended Posts

It was a fun jump. I'll write up more later.

As to the cold part, it wasn't a problem. Just dress appropriately. I wore polypro long underwear under my (heavy fabric) jumpsuit and 3mm neoprene scuba gloves. The gloves were key, because the extremities get coldest fastest. The cold was barely noticeable. You are so pumped you don't care anyway.

were they really over $300 for a high altitude jump? why so expensive? how long was freefall?

it included a lot of specalized equipment, etc.. i believe it was priced "good for everything that was required" but still a little expensive for one jump in my mind.. you had to have bailout bottles, masks, helmets, etc..

Couldnt have been so expensive, you didnt sell her...

But her indentured servitude will only end just before she attends the community college. :P

Shoot, man, that's a bargain compared to Davis. Wish I could have gone this year - the 30k HALO was #1 on my list of jumps to make. Hope they (the operators) are there next year. >:(
