Question for Sangiro (or anyone else for that matter)

Everytime I leave these forums, I get signed off automatically. Even if I check the "Stay logged in" box when I sign in, as soon as I drift to another page, it signs me out.

It's sorta a pain to have to sign in every single time I come back to these boards (which is quite often).

Does anyone else have this problem? If so, is there anything I can do about it?

Thanks guys. Nice forums sangiro, best I've found on the net (and not just for skydiving).

If you leave DZ.com the cookies will sign you out. That's just the way it works. I have DSL so I just leave a browser window open just for DZ.com. If I want to go somewhere else I open a new window. It still has some cookie issues with how the threads get marked "read" or "Unread" but it keeps me logged in.

Here's a solution that will fix ALL your problems - never have to log in again.

Create a bookmark or favorite for DZ.com. In the address of the bookmark, create a link that looks like:

http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/login/login.cgi
?userid=USERID&pw=PASSWORD&url=/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi&login=Logon&remember_cookie=1

Make sure it all goes on one line, and replace USERID and PASSWORD with your own. Using this favorite will automatically log you in and bring you to the forums.
