I agree with Katzeye.

Mine is a 1995 PD170. It's rectangular, very stable (even w/ line twists), and doesn't really swoop. Not huge (I load it about 1:1) but very stable and reliable...sort of the Ford Taurus of canopies.

Given my on again-off again skydiving situation, it's probably just right for me.
