Well...except I just want to grope her ass......I don't want to have it.

turtlespeed 226 #54 August 15, 2003 QuoteWell...it says I will only gain 8.1 lbs over the next ten years without exercise. Is beer drinking considered exercise? Hmmm, it called 911 for me and told me to stand still why they come get me.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
VanillaSkyGirl 6 #55 August 15, 2003 I often think I am fat and ugly. Michele, remember how we talked at the Bride the Gap? You are one of the most beautiful people that I have ever met based on your entire package. You have so much to offer in every way possible. You seemed confident in talking about it with me, then. We ALL probably have felt ugly at some point. When I was young, I was too "ethnic-looking" and too thin. Then, I went through puberty, and I looked like a walking porn star (skinny with huge breasts). I hated it. Now, I am caught between two worlds. Working as a designer in the apparel industry, surrounded by cosmetically-altered, thin Barbies, I have been subtly referred to as fat and ugly by other women. (I am under 100 lbs!) I don't "fit in" with the fashion plates because I eat like a horse, never work out and usually wear jeans to work. My clothes are almost never sexy or trendy by their standards, and I rarely wear jewelry. I never do my nails either. (I am an artist and climber/skydiver.) I enjoyed this stuff when I was a teenager or in my early twenties, but I have better things to do with my time now. Then again, it's the opposite at the DZs. I have long, girlie hair, and I have some makeup on when I arrive at the DZ. (Of course, I sweat it off, but I enjoy looking decent in the morning.) I USUALLY try to wear baggier clothes, but I should not have to hide my body or "dress down" to fit in. I am completely myself, but I am considered quite girlie among this crowd. I even get loud comments from that chick on my DZ, every time that she sees me, that my breasts are fake. My breasts are real, but whatever. Some people like to insult others and make them feel insecure. It's her problem. Like skydiving, having strong self-esteem is mostly a mental thing. (I, too, hate my bum, which is very sad.) I want more of my compliments based on the real me, anyway. I hope my inner beauty is far more beautiful than what I could ever be on the outside. I know that this is true of you, Michele, as your inner beauty shines like a bright light in a sometimes dark world.
freeflir29 0 #56 August 15, 2003 QuoteI hope my inner beauty is far more beautiful than what I could ever be on the outside Good on you. I guess I'm getting crotchety in my old age. I look at chicks now and say "So...you're hot. What else ya got?" The most recent ex-girlfriend was an absolute hottie. Turns out she is a fairly crappy person with heaps of issues. She seems to think that just being good looking is enough. That's why we only went out for less than 2 months. Apparently she is used to guys kissing her ass based solely on her looks. She sure as hell wasn't getting that from me. I need a woman that has a bit of substance too. Seems like all the women I meet go real fast to the "I'd rather go home and jerk off than deal with you" category. AND THAT ladies and gentlemen is pretty bad. wmw999 2,587 #58 August 15, 2003 QuoteIt is correct that a majority of Americans are overweight & should loose some excess fat for health reasons. However, we constantly have the media throwing pictures like this in our face. I wonder how many people don't even bother getting to a healthy weight for them because they know that they still won't be able to fit into single-digit clothes, and they'll still look like the "before" pictures weight-loss ads. EricaH 0 #60 August 18, 2003 I agree Wendy. Kinda a 'why bother' attitude. Sure, health is one reason to get fit, but it's so internal - unless a real effort is made so you actually look fit - the results not as instantly gratifying. You can't wear a sign stating that 'you may think i'm big but here's my before pic' - doesn't work. People are beautiful no matter what their size, but sometimes the most wonderful people are overlooked because of it. I wish I could skip from my size down to a 6 or 8 - it's the between that's the hardest work & the least rewarding. There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear.
