jumperconway 0 #1 August 18, 2003 Hi Everybody! It's official. THE NEW TEXAS STATE RECORD IS A 125-WAY! It was completed on the first jump Sunday morning (Jump 13 of 15). We want to thank everyone that helped make this event successful. It's not just the jumpers, organizers and pilots that made it all happen, it takes a lot of volunteers, and ground crew to support an event of this magnitude. There are so many people to thank, that we can't list them all here. We want each of you to know that we genuinely appreciate you. There are a couple of people who went above and beyond, and deserve a special mention. Bobby Bishop came out at 11:00 PM on Saturday night to work on one of the Casas so that we'd have enough lift capacity to finish the event. Susan Leigh was here from sun up to sun down organizing all the volunteers. CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! Jack Berke and Steve Boyd have already agreed to host another Texas State Record Attempt next year at Skydive Spaceland. We got a lot of emails asking how the record attempts were going, so I thought I'd send this out to everyone on our regular email list, and the TSR Team List. (So, some of you may get two copies.)
