I moved back in late 2000 only to leave again in early 2003. I have jumped at 3 of the 4 DZ's in the state. Monroe was the only one I haven't actually jumped at. Once I found SD Atlanta in Thomaston......I knew I was home!!! I would say Monroe and SD Atlanta are the two best. Try them both and see what you like. celljumper 0 #17 August 18, 2003 Just an update for y'all (I'm working on my southern drawl), after PMing with Mouth, and deciding to head out to Thomaston this coming Saturday, I decided to head to Monroe today, since I wanted to check out Athens too, and it was on the way. Did a jump with Sarah, met Lisa and a whole crew of other cool peeps. Now I am home safe and sound with a big smile on my face and it feels GOOD. Real Good. Georgia Skydiving Center up in Rome is half the distance for me and also very cool. Both DZ's are cool for different reasons and they have vastly different feels.
