lawrocket 3 #1 August 19, 2003 I read that the Princeton Review has rated the University of Colorado at Boulder the #1 party school. It is a fine academic institution, but also a mighty fine party school, though they have had a tendency to riot in the past. I was also dismayed to see that my alma mater, UC Santa Barbara has fallen out of the top ten. We were a perenial top 3 party school till I left. Now, apparently all it has to offer is top flight academics, as well as a campus that has a beach on two sides. Even the legendary Halloweens are mild, thanks to police crackdowns. It's a shame about UCSB (U Can Study Buzzed) Boulder, though. Sounds like I need to pay another visit. My wife is hotter than your wife.
AggieDave 6 #2 August 19, 2003 When were you at UCSB? My roommate graduated there and is in grad school here @ A&M.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

bmcd308 0 #6 August 19, 2003 My own alma mater, Vanderbilt, has fallen off the list, as well. Pity. It seems that many college administrations are dead set on forcing young people to drive off campus in order to get intoxicated. I think that is pure stupidity. freakous 0 #7 August 19, 2003 Like all polls, you have to realize how was the data derived. For instance any school in the country will rate higher on a Sat during a home football game vs another during a rainy Tuesday during exam week. It is not a perfect world of matching apples to apples.
lawrocket 3 #8 August 19, 2003 I was at UCSB from 91-96. Yeah, buddy. The five-year plan! Edited to add: I'm sure he told you plenty of stories! My wife is hotter than your wife.

AggieDave 6 #10 August 19, 2003 That he has, he was there from '98 till '02... Texas A&M isn't on any of the lists so far...which is good or bad, depending on the list. I was very miffed that we weren't in the top 5 for "students pack the stadium" list. I'm guessing they've never been to an Aggie football game. Where the record attendance is something like 97,000 people, that was overflowing, but the stadium is always full for every game.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." skymama 37 #11 August 19, 2003 What???? LSU dropped to #17. They were #1 one year! Kids these days...such a disappointment! lawrocket 3 #12 August 19, 2003 I wouldn't know him based on the dates. But, I don't think there is another school who is more spirited than A&M. I've known a whole lotta Aggies through the Army. I'll admit that the A&M fight song is the only school fight song I know. My wife is hotter than your wife.

FallingILweenie 0 #21 August 19, 2003 How the hell is Indiana number 3????? I've been there visiting from U of I, and the partying has never been as hard. And people from IU that visit Illinois for the first time are usually pretty amazed about the level of debauchery.....
