(yes, I know, Godiva Chocolate, and a good man, but hey, even without those, it was glorious...). How was your weekend?? freeflir29 0 #2 August 17, 2003 0:0:0 Nasty flu bug. I mostly stayed in bed until 5 PM yesterday. Went out for dinner last night but then came right back home. Slept like a baby last night. Woke up every two hours crying. Managed to haul myself to the shower around 1PM. I need to go get my hair cut and go grocery shopping but I feel like I was in a car accident last night. Work tomorrow is going to be SO much fun.
Stacy 0 #3 August 17, 2003 1 (time meeting Chris Rock):0:1/4 Sister visited this weekend, we went scuba diving on friday out in pompano beach. I owed a 6 pack for getting my cert back in date, but the sister losing her bathign suit top in the water nulled it out. Saw Chris Rock at the Improv Sat night, hung around after the show and got some pics, etc etc. His bodyguard is a riot!! At least when I go jump and don't do stuff I don't have to look at it. Blah, blah, blah Gee, it rained where you are today. Case of beer owed for finally completing my AFF levels. skybytch 273 #9 August 17, 2003 1 premature zipper opening:1:1 First jump at Perris on my wingsuit. Halfway through my flight I grabbed the wings to cup more air... and the right arm zipper came open. Thought about cutting the wings away but it was flying okay as long as I held on to the wing, so I didn't. Pull time was interesting though. Would have jumped more but I have only 5 jumps left on account and those have to last until I leave California.

Two jumps on Saturday, then spent an hour or two with Cheryl who agreed to help me learn packing. She wants to work with me more before she signs me off, but I'm glad she is taking the time to help me learn it right. I'll have to buy her a couple of jump tickets for the help. I jumped the NAV 220 I was practicing packing on with her. It opened NICE...on-heading and quick but soft deployment. Also had a fine time Saturday night. Thomas (Aviator's) agreed to partner with me for two games of horseshoes (we won one BTW...NICE). I've never thrown horseshoes, but, despite having some brews in me, I managed not to lob any into the crowd who was watching nearby . Yes, I know it is snowing. No, we are not putting the top up.
