freeflir29 0 #2 August 23, 2003 I'm afraid the pink parts will burn. Funny story associated with this. A friend of mine was deployed to Diego Garcia (Small island in the Indian Ocean 7 degrees south of the Equator.) He's out swimming one day and decides he wants to tan his extremely pale ass. He said he layed on the raft with ass exposed for less than 10 minutes. Poor guy was in excruciating pain and could hardly sit down for a week.

airann 1 #4 August 23, 2003 QuoteDo tanning booths count? I do both. Tanning bed in the garage for rainy days. A nice pool, (that I have to clean right now), in the back. And yes Clay, I lived in an apartment building when french cut bathing suits first were around, say early college. And I burned my extreme inside upper leg and areas straight up to belly button. Same thing with my ass & thongs. I was used to being out for hours. Mucho asprin, aloe and pain killers. Plus there was this really cute guy in the apt building who could really spread the aloe. Ouch and Yummy at the same time. Wow back in the day. ~AirAnn~

riggerrob 643 #11 August 24, 2003 ...used to sun bath nude on clothing-optional beaches in Europe. I never understood why North Americans get so upset about nudity.
meatmissile 0 #12 August 24, 2003 Well, I always sunbathe topless. I do get the feeling that this would have been more of a statement had I been a girl, though . On the bright side, there are several "clothing optional" beaches close to my home. Summer here is a blast -- ZZZzzzz....

Snowwhite 0 #14 August 24, 2003 The first time that Dave and I sunbathed at a 'resort', he got VERY sunburned in a rather sensitive place. Next morning it reminded me of an accordian........skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
kallend 2,150 #15 August 24, 2003 Quotehave you tried it? It's nice. I guess it's OK if you're not particular which parts get skin cancer.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
selbbub78 0 #16 August 24, 2003 Quote I guess it's OK if you're not particular which parts get skin cancer. I think statistics say that 1 in 3 people is going to get cancer, mine might as well be skin cancer, at least that's curable (very wise saying from a good friend"Women fake orgasms - men fake whole relationships" – Sharon Stone "The world is my dropzone" (wise crewdog quote) "The light dims, until full darkness pierces into the world."-KDM

txblondie 0 #23 August 25, 2003 I actually don't sunbathe at all...my skin is too fair for that. I've got that extremely light skin tone that burns without first tanning, then peels instead of fading into a tan. Since I've been outside a lot at the DZ, it hasn't been quite so bad, but then when I'm there, I go in and out of the building a lot to minimize the length of exposure--several short stays in the sun are much easier to handle than one long one! ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!
